The Credentialing Specialist is responsible for ensuring licensed practitioners are credentialed as needed with Medicare, Medicaid and commercial insurance companies for Professional Services.QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum one (1) year of insurance enrollment/credentialing experience strongly preferred.
- Knowledge and experience with CAQH preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel required.
- Experience with web-based data bases preferred.
- Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to pro-actively identify problems, as well as recommend and/or implement effective solutions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and develop relationships both internally and externally.
- Demonstrated ability to work with and maintain confidential information.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to a changing and fast-paced environment.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
